Even with all the stress in Sharon and Keanu’s relationship on EastEnders, the couple isn’t hesitant to get personal, with Letitia Dean acknowledging that she feels “extremely blessed.”
Letitia Dean of EastEnders and toy boy Keanu Taylor have had their fair share of on-screen antics, but she doesn’t seem to mind at all.
The legendary actor, who made her TV debut in 1985, portrays Sharon Watts in the enduring BBC soap opera. Since then, she has emerged as a devoted fan favourite and has been in a number of suspenseful plots.
During her tenure on the soap opera, the blonde beauty is also no stranger to a sensual on-screen encounter. Not to mention all of the love triangles, affairs, and relationships the character has had.
Sharon is currently preparing to wed Danny Walters’ character, Keanu Taylor, over in the serial opera. When they started having an affair in 2018 behind Phil and Louise Mitchell’s backs, the couple fell in love.
In the present, Sharon and Keanu share Albie and are engaged. But in a surprising turn of events that came to light in November, Phil Mitchell—not Keanu—is Albie’s father.
Even after all the hardship the couple has experienced, Sharon and Keanu don’t mind getting their hands filthy. The two are as cute as bunnies in the BBC soap opera, from playing dress-up in Phil’s bed with some kinky handcuffs to doing the dead on the Mitchells’ kitchen table.
Letita doesn’t appear to mind the sultry scenes with a younger co-star, however. In 2020, she talked about the response she got from fans following her on-screen run-ins with Keanu in an interview with Heat magazine.
“I got a lot of, ‘You lucky b*stard!’” she joked. I was, too. My young leading guys are a true blessing. However, they’ve all been quite kind, and Danny—who portrays Keanu—was a pleasure to work with and showed a lot of respect for the elderly woman.
Furthermore, it appears that Letitia continues to attract the attention of younger guys as a result of her hot exchanges with Keanu. It also occurs when she stops by the corner store.
“Yeah, sometimes when I pop into my local little OneStop, I get some very strange looks from little boys, but the people that I’ve seen in my little quiet life have really enjoyed it,” she said in an interview with Metro in 2019.
In response to a question about how the romps are filmed, she said, “Very trying! gazing up at such exquisite eyes.
Letitia continued, saying, “On a serious note, Danny was so lovely and respectful; I really couldn’t believe my luck because he’s such a lovely guy.” It was incredibly exciting for me, and I really enjoyed working with Danny.”
