Ben Jones is set to join the Walford cast as a dodgy solicitor.
Eastenders hired Ben Jones, known for his role in Doctors to play a shady character involved with Walford villain Nish Panesar in a new storyline.
Ben plays Dr. Greg Robinson in the BBC drama series, Doctors.
On Eastenders Ben is set to play the role of Roger Peel, a solicitor and friend of Nish.
Kat Slater decided to pursue Nish after the breakdown of her marriage with Phil Mitchell.
After the divorce proceedings had begun, Nish was determined to seize a portion of the Mitchell fortune for himself. Nish introduced Kat to a dubious divorce lawyer named Roger Peel.
Nish hired Roger to assist in a fraud scheme. He wants to scam Kat along with her ex-husband Phil Mitchell, of their businesses.
Kat thinks Nish hired Roger to help her receive financial compensation after her divorce against Phil, but she doesn’t know Nish is using his shady friend to take whatever Kat gets in the settlement.
Ben’s character is expected to make appearances in several episodes in the upcoming weeks.
During his four-year stint from 2003 to 2007 on Doctors, Ben featured in nearly 700 episodes.
Ben has also starred in Spooks, My Family, Holby City and Drifters.
