Demanding Kim Tate barges in to confront Lydia Dingle in tense Emmerdale spoiler

After spending Christmas with her mother, Karen Blick’s character Lydia Dingle just returned to the Emmerdale hamlet, and Claire King’s character Kim Tate is keen to win her back.

Lydia was heartbroken to learn that Kim had a bigger role in rapist Craig Reed’s (Ben Addis) death than she had previously disclosed, and she made the decision to step away for a while to process the situation.

Kim was a huge support for Lydia’s employee and one of the first persons Lydia confided in during her awful rape trauma.

But all changed when Craig’s body was discovered dead under strange circumstances.

When it was revealed that Kim was riding the horse that killed Craig, it was too much for Lydia to handle, especially because her husband Sam Dingle (James Hooton) had previously physically assaulted him against her will.

According to a new spoiler video, Kim sees her chance to win the Dingle matriarch over now that she’s back in the village.

Lydia is shocked to find Kim at Wishing Well Cottage with a gift basket, and she promptly lets her know that she is not welcome.

She admits that she had thought Kim would obey her requests and keep quiet, but it’s obvious that Kim has other plans.

In typical Kim Tate form, Kim seizes the chance to shove past Lydia as she attempts to enter the Dingle residence, obstinately blocking the entrance to keep Lydia out.

Kim, determined to win her friend over, says she won’t go until Lydia gives her an opportunity to speak.

Will Lydia concur, or does Kim still need to make amends?
