Coronation Street’s Steve needs Tim to help him cover up a ℂrime
Best friends Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) and Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) fancy themselves as Coronation Street’s next criminal duo next week as they work together after a bust of Tommy Orpington (Matt Milburn) is stolen.
Recently in the ITV soap, Tim decided to organise a surprise birthday party for Steve, who’s been feeling a bit sorry for himself after Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford) ran off to Spain with former footballer Tommy.
While Steve clocked that Tim and Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) were potentially organising something, he remained unaware Sally Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor) had approached her husband and said they can’t sort a birthday party for Steve, because they’re going to attend the unveiling of Tommy O’s bust instead.
Not wanting to reveal he’s prioritising Tommy over him, Tim told Steve that he can’t hang out with him because has a doctors appointment and then has to go to the dentist immediately after.
It’s the least he could do!
Busy man!
In upcoming episodes, it’s finally Steve’s birthday but he’s disappointed to realise the party isn’t exactly what he was expecting.
Steve then finds out Tim and Sal aren’t coming because they’re at the unveiling of Tommy Orpington’s bust. Ouch.
Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) approaches Steve and offers to drive him to the party so he can confront his so-called best mate.
When they arrive, Steve discovers a way to get revenge on Tommy once and for all.
In the week, Steve enlists Tim’s help to try and cover his tracks after his and Cassie’s antics.
However, as the plot gets underway, the duo are confronted by Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) – will they be able to talk their way out of this one?
