Bernie Taylor takes drastic action against brother Keanu in EastEnders
Could Bernie push her own brother to his death ahead of Christmas?
KEANU Taylor’s scheming is catching up with him as his sister Bernie Taylor has had enough of his dishonesty.
The EastEnders favourite played by Clair Norris takes drastic action in the hopes of seeing her mother Karen again.
Karen Taylor was splashing the cash all around Albert Square in recent scenes of the BBC One soap, after years of struggling to make ends meet.
This caused suspicions to emerge as it became clear her sudden windfall may have been hiding something sinister.
Phil Mitchell (played by Steve McFadden) was able to get to the bottom of things quickly as he realised Karen had been involved in Albie Watts’ kidnapping ordeal and pocketed the ransom money asked for the boy’s safe return home.
The Walford tough man was rightly convinced her son Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was also involved but once he confronted the pair in The Vic, Karen took the fall for her son and fled the Square before it was too late.
Since then, Keanu has been able to remain by his fiancée Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) who is completely unaware of how far he went to punish her for even considering taking Albie to Abu Dhabi with her.
And while Keanu thinks his secret is safe, his sister Bernie decides honesty is the best policy as she’s left living in squalor following Karen’s departure.
Coming up, Bernie tries to put on a brave face as she wakes up alone in No.23B with no electricity or heating.
But after an emotional call with her mother, she pleads with Keanu to speak to Sharon so that Karen can finally come home.
Keanu categorically refuses and uninvites Bernie to the wedding as he begins to fear that his involvement in Albie’s kidnap will come to light.
Bernie is prompted to finally expose Keanu in the hopes of saving her mother Karen from Sharon and Phil’s well-known dangerous wrath.
Plucking up the courage, Bernie heads to No.55 to interrupt the Mitchell’s raucous Christmas lunch and she demands an audience with Phil.
Will she really go through with it?
Keanu and Sharon are both getting ready to finally tie the knot after years of obstacles and scheming.
The pair’s love story began as an affair while Sharon was still married to Phil Mitchell and seemingly resulted in the birth of baby Albie Watts.
However, in recent scenes of the London-based program, Sharon figured out that Keanu wasn’t Albie’s biological father, leaving only one other option left – her former husband Phil.
Sharon has kept Albie’s parentage a secret and only recently revealed everything to her best pal in Walford Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Unfortunately for her, Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) listened in to their conversation and vowed to let Phil, her current husband, know the truth.
This was until Sharon intercepted her and threatened her into silence.
Could Kat be tempted to drop her own bombshell on Phil following Bernie’s visit?
