Also in Walford next week, Nish Panesar works with son Ravi Gulati to target his other son Vinny Panesar amid a shocking death bombshell. Here’s a look at all the soap spoilers for next week on EastEnders…
Maya Houssain mystery
Maya Houssain, played by Bharti Patel, will be making a debut this week in Walford as she sparks an unlikely friendship with cab driver Harvey Monroe. The pair soon bond over their mutual love of football, and Harvey is delighted to make another friend with similar interests after Rocky Cotton and Mitch Baker’s recent departures.
However, next week, it appears Maya may be too good to be true as a new mystery is teased. In the upcoming scenes, Harvey has lost Maya’s number so gets Tommy’s help to find her online. Later, Maya arrives in Walford and is furious with Harvey for going through her socials.
Harvey is quick to apologise and invites her for a drink to say sorry. During a heart-to-heart, Maya tells Harvey her husband died last year as they bond further. When she leaves, Maya forgets her hat. However, in a new further mystery later, Harvey goes online to message her but her account has been deleted. Later in the week, Harvey is down to have lost touch with Maya so Jean Slater offers to take him on a ‘boys’ night out’ with a football theme to cheer him up. What is Maya hiding and is this the last Harvey has seen of her?
Cindy Beale’s plan
Cindy Beale is left horrified to hear that her daughter, Anna, has been mugged next week and things take a shocking turn when Kathy Beale blames her for being a bad mum. Cindy rushes to The Vic with Jack Branning to get Anna to make a statement but Anna refuses despite Cindy and George Knight’s pleas. Later, Ian Beale tries to apologise to Cindy for Kathy’s comments but she makes it clear he’s not a priority to her.
Working together following their shock kiss, Cindy and ex-husband George head to the Boxing Den to check the CCTV footage. Later, Cindy tries to get closer to George as they talk about how to help Anna but when Anna arrives to talk to her dad she is shocked to find him drinking with Cindy.
After Anna leaves, a desperate Cindy renews her attempts to reel George in, but he shows her out, as Junior watches from the shadows. Later in the week, Cindy is a woman on a mission to get George back and engineers a family dinner and movie night with their girls. Elaine offers The Vic flat living room to Anna for the occasion.
However, it’s not long until Cindy and Ian have a row. Later, George is making dinner when Cindy arrives dressed to the nines as Ian waits at home with a surprise romantic dinner he’s cooked for her… will Cindy’s plan to get George back work and what will Ian think?
Family betrayal
In scenes this week, Nish Panesar returns to Walford, weeks on from being kicked out by his family. The villain finally got some form of comeuppance as the family disowned him, but this week he’s back with a shocking confession. Nish tells his stunned family that he is dying, with spoiler images showing the character looking frail.
He’s been gone for weeks with it not clear what he’s been up to in this time, but now he’s back to seemingly make amends. Given his killer past and the vile abuse he inflicted on ex-wife Suki Panesar, not to mention the way he attacked and bullied his own children, it’s clear the Panesars are not ready to forgive and forget.
But as they demand he leaves, he blindsides them with the news he is sick and is dying. But is he telling the truth, and is this confirmation Nish will be killed off? In spoilers for next week, it airs the aftermath of Nish’s bombshell as he and son Ravi target his other son Vinny.
Spoilers reveal that Ravi is suspicious of Vinny’s true intentions and voices his concerns to Nish, who instructs Ravi to investigate if his youngest son is genuine. Under Ravi’s questioning, Vinny swears his loyalty and says enough to convince him. Nish is touched when Ravi pledges to be there for him, no matter what.
Later, Vinny and Suki discuss Ravi’s questions and pledge to reclaim the Panesar empire. Things go from bad to worse when Eve is sickened to see Vinny cosying up to Nish but Suki quickly shuts her down. Later, Eve has a row with Nish at The Vic, and Suki drags her away, fearing she’ll get in trouble and ruin her plan.
It’s not long until Priya tries to fish for information after becoming suspicious of Suki and Vinny, but gets nowhere. In a bid to create some family unity, Vinny invites Suki and Eve to join him, Nish, Ravi and the grandkids for a family meal.
Later in the week, Priya gatecrashes the Panesar family meal and demands to know why she wasn’t invited. Ravi begs her not to cause trouble and spoil his chance to get close to his dying father. When Priya blatantly cosies up to Nish, Ravi pulls her up on it, and she accuses them all of trying to manipulate him.
