Bosses are keeping quiet on what exactly happens, instead teasing that things do not go smoothly and that “a shock event” happens. Chaos will apparently erupt and dampen the celebrations, and fans will no doubt have their ideas about what that “event” is.

Spoiler images do not reveal what it is that goes down, while they tease all of the fun at the party. A couple of the images do hint at drama ahead though, featuring Zack and new mother-in-law Bianca Jackson.

With the party in full swing, in scenes set to air on Thursday May 16, Bianca can be seen with a look of concern on her face. Zack also looks worried, as they appear to be having private chats.

This seems to go unnoticed by those at the joint event, with many of them having a blast. Ian Beale looks fuming as he’s presented with a credit card reader, clearly not happy with the cost of the drinks.

Jack Branning ditches his detective suit for a police uniform, while fellow officer and colleague Callum Highway ditches the good side of the law for crime, dressing up as a robber. They aren’t the only ones co-ordinating outfits though, with Billy and Honey Mitchell dressed as The Flintstones.

Then there’s Eve Unwin who wins outfit of the night, according to us, seemingly dressed up as her soulmate Suki Panesar. It seems the whole of Walford is in the spirit of things, with them all dressed up while Bianca has opted for a leopard print tracksuit so perhaps she’s gone as herself! The only person not shown in the snaps is Whitney, the bride.

She is yet to find out about Zack cheating on her with her best friend Lauren Branning, who also isn’t in the snaps. Could the chaos that ensues be linked to this, and might Whitney finally find out the truth?

Whitney will soon leave the show for good, after actress Shona McGarty quit the role. Speaking about her upcoming departure, Shona admitted: “It was a really difficult decision, because it’s all I’ve ever known. I pretty much grew up on the Square, so I feel like I’m leaving home.

“But I had to put on my big girl pants and be quite brave, because life is so short, and you feel that more and more as you get older. There are other opportunities and areas of the industry I want to explore before I get too old! All things come to an end and this is the new chapter of my life.”

She told The Sun: “So although it was a big decision, once I’d made it, I was quite resolute that this was something I had to do. I mean, 16 years is amazing. I’ve had a really good run and Whitney needs a break.”

The actress took to Instagram last month to praise the BBC soap for her exit storyline as viewers watched her take Britney under her wing. She wrote: “What @bbceastenders always do so well, is rewrite, and relive history, and beautiful memories through story.

“They spark old memories in the viewers. Reminders of how much time has passed, and remind the audience of what a journey a long running character like Whitney has been on. They’ve captured a young ‘Whitney Dean’ in ‘Britney’… Just a pleasure creating and moulding these moments from paper to screen, and there’s SO much more to come! Thank you Lola, (Britney) thank you Eastenders, and of course, a huge thank you to the extremely talented writers! X.”
