B&B Spoilers: Finn Supports Sheila Instead of Steffy
The good doctor makes a bad decision for his marriage.
On the February 29 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, spoilers tease that Finn does not stand behind his wife in killing Sheila, although Ridge and Thomas do. Two steps behind and unaware of Sheila’s death, Hope tells Brooke about Steffy and Sheila’s previous fight.
Finn Chooses His Mother
Finn (Tanner Novlan) is in a situation no man wants to be in: torn between his wife and his mother. Before he reached home, Finn told Hope (Annika Noelle) how much he feels for Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and how he wants to support her in every way possible.
That seems to swiftly change once Steffy informs him that she killed his biological mom Sheila (Kimberlin Brown) in self-defense (is Sheila really dead?). It wasn’t an accident, but Steffy felt she had no choice. Sheila broke into their home and walked towards her ominously in the dark in a black hood.
Huge Regrets
Finn must be trying hard to wrap his head around how it got to this point. He might believe that Steffy did have other choices. Why didn’t she throw something at Sheila or push her away instead of sticking a knife in her heart? What’s more, he may think that Steffy instigated the deadly incident to begin with. After all, if Steffy hadn’t confronted Sheila and smacked her the day before, she never would have retaliated and come after Steffy in her home.
Finn’s loyalty sure flip-flops quickly. Steffy must feel deeply shocked and wounded that her husband doesn’t believe her actions were necessary. At least Steffy has her blood relatives to back her up no matter what. Her father Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) and brother Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) give Steffy the unconditional support that Finn fails to provide.
Hope Dishes the Dirt with Brooke
After her chat with Finn, Hope finds her mother Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) and informs her of all that has been going on with Steffy and Sheila — minus the fact that Sheila is now dead. Brooke and Steffy are not exactly best buddies. However, Brooke will most likely think Steffy had a right to protect herself against Sheila no matter what the consequences.
