Home and Away’s Mackenzie Booth to banish Mali’s brother from Summer Bay

Home and Away will see Mackenzie Booth resort to a drastic decision after almost losing “the love of her life”, Levi Fowler.
Mac blames Mali Hudson’s younger brother Iluka for Levi being stabbed in the chest by one of the Allen gang. In new scenes for viewers in Australia (those in the UK will have to wait till August), Mac banishes Iluka from Summer Bay, causing a rift with Mali.
“Seeing Levi get stabbed – and having to do medical work on him with his guidance and almost lose him – was traumatic for Mac,” Mac star Emily Weir told TV Week.
“Mac is in protection mode for her, Levi and her household after the trauma,” Weir continued.
“The dangers of the people Iluka mixes with nearly cost her the love of her life. Mac can’t quickly forget the gravity of the situation and doesn’t yet feel comfortable to forgive.”
Mac thinks Iluka is responsible for the Allens coming to town and doesn’t want Mali’s brother in her house.
Learning about Mac’s decision, Mali begs her to reconsider but when she stands her ground, Mali gives her an ultimatum: if Iluka leaves, he goes too.
