Emmerdale airs upsetting scenes for Charity Dingle as her ordeal is far from over
Charity started having flashbacks
Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) has really been through it over the years, but recent Emmerdale scenes saw her turn killer, and it is safe to say that she is not coping with it well.
Charity was left horrified when she realised that Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) was potentially in danger, and soon set about trying to track him down.
As she followed Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) to an abandoned factory, she was soon led straight to where Mack was being held hostage by Chloe’s furious father, Damon Harris (Robert Beck).
Damon had caught wind of Mack’s role in Chloe’s clifftop accident, and the way he had gone on to mess her around by dumping her for Charity.
Charity started having flashbacks
When Chloe realised that she wasn’t going to be able to disappear with Reuben like she had planned, she called gangster dad Damon in for back up.
After a showdown with Damon resulted in her shooting him, Charity was left totally shaken.
Several days later, it is clear that she is still struggling with the events of Christmas Day, though she refused to let on to concerned husband Mack.
Instead, she pushed her feelings aside and got on with the ironing until he left for work.
However, it soon became clear just how difficult it was for Charity to put one foot in front of the other and carry on as normal, as she was plagued by flashbacks to that terrifying Christmas Day ordeal.
Desperate to forget, she headed straight to the fridge and grabbed a bottle of wine, clearly struggling deeply.
With Charity in such turmoil, will she open up to Mack about how she’s truly feeling, or could she be set to suffer in silence?
