Home and Away spoiler: Remi tries to clear the air
Can he get back on an even keel with Bree?
As the awkward double date continues, Stevie figures out that Bree is Remi’s ex. When it finally gets too painful, Bree excuses herself and Nelson follows. She tells him the truth about the situation and he’s sympathetic, pointing out that anyone would find that difficult.
Regardless, it would be a shame if Bree wanted to be alone for the rest of the day, because he really enjoyed her company and was going to invite her for dinner. Bree smiles, not hating that idea at all.
Remi feels remorseful for his role in the double date, so he asks to meet up at Bree’s place later. He apologises for imposing on her and Nelson, and for Stevie constantly redirecting the conversation to his and Bree’s relationship.
Bree expresses her insecurities – Stevie is a straight-shooter, the complete opposite of herself, and he must find that refreshing. Remi, however, reassures her that he’s always loved her thoughtfulness. He tells her that all of this will get easier with time, and the two of them agree that they will always want the best for each other.
Meanwhile, Eden comes home from visiting Imogen, teary-eyed, and Cash does his best to comfort her. He runs her a bubble bath, but she has barely started opening up to him about her awful day when his phone goes off – more Stevie stuff. Cash excuses himself to take the call, and Eden tries to hold it together.
The two of them try to rekindle the positive vibe later that night as Cash cooks her dinner. Just when they’re about to savour a precious moment alone together, there’s a knock on the door.
Cash opens it with the full intention of getting rid of whoever’s bothering them, but it’s Stevie. She barges in, complaining about Cash’s safety measures and how he’s making extra work for Nelson. The two start bickering like an old married couple, and Eden can’t take it. Silent and fed up, she grabs the bottle of wine, marches into the bedroom and shuts the door behind her. Has Stevie pushed Eden to her limit?
