EastEnders spoilers: Major twist as Cindy sleeps with a Knight – and it’s not George

Why would you make this even more complicated?

This article contains spoilers from an episode of EastEnders that hasn’t aired on BBC One yet, but is available to view on BBC iPlayer.

Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) plan to get back with George Knight (Colin Salmon) failed miserably in Tuesday’s (June 4) EastEnders, so she turned her attention to his son Junior (Micah Balfour).

Ever since Cindy and George shared a kiss, Cindy has been determined to reunite with him, despite the fact he’s made it clear his heart lies with Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).

Convinced their connection is as strong as what it was when they lived together in Spain, Cindy spent her entire day putting a plan into place to get George alone.

Why would you make this even more complicated?

Don’t get us wrong, it certainly worked to some extent. That evening, after clashing with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) again, Cindy got dressed up and made her way over to the Mitchell household.

She found George in the kitchen cooking paella. He was under the impression they’d box it up and take it over to the pub for Gina Knight (Francesca Henry) and Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) ready for a movie night – but that wasn’t in Cindy’s head.

Cindy eventually confessed that she hasn’t stopped thinking out George since their kiss, and she lays awake at night thinking about him.

After telling George she still loves him, Cindy was firmly put in her place when her ex said he wants to be with Elaine, and that he doesn’t love her.

Thrown out of the house, Cindy made her way onto the market, grabbed a bottle of vodka and was then found by Junior, George’s son.

Heading into Beale’s Eels, Cindy broke down in front of Junior and wondered why George didn’t feel the same way she did.

Junior – who has a difficult relationship with his father anyway – said George is a ‘fool’ for turning her down.

As they locked eyes, Junior then started to kiss Cindy.

The passionate embrace continued while Cindy was on the phone to Ian (don’t ask us why, please). After Cindy quickly told Ian that she’d make it up to him, she hung up the phone and returned to kissing Junior.

Junior pushed Cindy down onto the table where…well…

You get the idea.

As if this wasn’t complicated enough!
