PREGNANT Belle Dingle is left horrified as husband Tom King makes his sickest attack yet in Emmerdale.
The start of married life hasn’t gone to plan for Belle, after her new husband became physically abusive following weeks of coercive control.
Tom forced Belle’s hand under a scolding hot tap a few weeks ago when he discovered she was secretly still taking her contraceptive pill.
He had forced her into agreeing to try for a baby despite her protests that she wasn’t ready, and was furious when he discovered she had gone behind his back.
Days later, he punched her in the stomach during another tense exchange, before tampering with her mental health medication to make her believe she was forgetting to take them.
Belle’s struggles go from bad to worse in upcoming Emmerdale scenes when she discovers she is pregnant.
Belle feigns illness to hide her pregnancy from Tom and Mandy.
She later registers to visit the doctor with Wendy’s support, feeling apprehensive about her options.
Tom is affronted as Cain lectures him for selling Belle’s car without consulting him.
Paranoid Tom accuses Belle of mouthing off about the car and Tom interrogates a nervous Belle.
As he raises his hand, fearful Belle blurts out that she’s pregnant.
As the dust settles from Belle’s shocking revelation, Tom’s demeanour changes as he pulls her in for a hug.
They both cry, but Belle’s tears are not tears of joy… what will she do about the baby?
And if she does go through with the pregnancy, will Tom really change his ways? Or will he harm Belle and his unborn child?
