Shocking 𝕕eath twist for one family as the Beales are ripped to shreds next week
Two families are rocked to the core in EastEnders next week, with the Panesar brood stunned to discover Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) is dying and the Beales reeling from Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) betrayal.
As Nish returns, he is unwelcome with his family, and when he claims to be dying they don’t believe him.
But it soon becomes clear that he is telling the truth for once – which leaves more than one relative conflicted.
Meanwhile, when Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) discovers that Cindy cheated with George Knight (Colin Salmon), is this the end for them?

Monday, May 27
Suki and Eve are rattled when Nish turns up on the doorstep of No. 41, saying that the solicitor has sent both copies of their final order divorce paperwork to him.
The Panesars agree to change the locks so Nish can’t gain access, but he manipulates Avani into getting him inside. Suki, Ravi, Eve and Vinny are hostile as Nish starts talking, but he silences them as he tells them he’s dying.
While Lauren bears the brunt of Cindy’s spiteful comments, Peter tries to support her.
Elaine arranges a girls’ night out with Anna and Gina, reassuring them that they always have a home in The Vic with her.
George gets his hopes up when Elaine rings him to ask him over, but she just wants him to cover the bar while she’s out.
Elsewhere, Freddie tries to matchmake Kat and Alfie with a voucher for a couples’ spa day, but she invites Big Mo instead. Meanwhile, Jean tries to encourage lonely Harvey to make some new friends.
Tuesday, May 28
The Panesars accuse Nish of lying and kick him out, as he insists that he’s telling the truth. Nish finds Priya later and tries to convince her, but Ravi intervenes and orders him to stay away.
Nish eventually catches up with Nugget at McKlunky’s and begs him to hear him out. Ravi spots them and angry he shoves Nish, who falls and is rushed to hospital.
At Peggy’s, Gina and Anna try to convince Elaine to give George another chance while he tries to cope with a crowd at The Vic single-handedly.
The girls are annoyed when Cindy comes into the club for a tipple, so she heads over to the pub instead. Seeing that George is struggling, Cindy offers to help, and they are soon back in their old Marbella routine.
Elaine is horrified when she returns to see Cindy lording it up behind her bar.
Lauren appreciates Peter’s unconditional support and agrees to spend the evening with him.
Wednesday, May 29
It’s Eve’s birthday, but Nish dominates the conversation. Suki asks the Panesars to vote on whether to let him back into their lives.
Nish comes over to plead his case, and the family is shaken by the depths of his desperation. Although he stands firm with Suki against Nish in the moment, Ravi is conflicted, especially when Nugget and Avani plead his case but there’s another shock on the way.
Elaine summons Ian to The Vic and tells him about George and Cindy’s kiss. At the Beale’s, Cindy is not impressed to see Lauren there and upsets Peter by being hostile and rude to her. He threatens to move out if she can’t be civil to the mother of his child.
Elsewhere, Harvey bumps into a woman called Maya by mistake and agrees to take her cab fare. The two hit it off as they are both avid Tottenham Hotspur fans.
Thursday, May 30
Nish’s decision sends shockwaves through the Panesar family. Ravi struggles to stand firm when Nugget says that he’d never let his dad die alone, no matter what bad things Ravi had done. At the hospital, Nish has an appointment with his consultant.
Junior tries to make peace between Cindy and the girls by getting them all to meet him at Peggy’s but Anna and Gina struggle to forgive Cindy for causing chaos between George and Elaine. As she and Gina queue at McKlunky’s, Anna is left terrified when a thug snatches her bag.
Lauren thanks Peter for having her back during a difficult week.
Having agreed to meet him for a pint, Martin abandons Harvey to look after troubled Zack; however, things look up when Maya arrives.
She’s brought Harvey a vintage football programme and they happily chat about the beautiful game. Harvey introduces Maya to Jean, who is polite but leaves them to their conversation to join suspicious Kat.
