Throughout it all, George has regularly turned to ex-wife Cindy Beale for support, rather than current partner Elaine.

Their closeness culminated in them sharing a kiss a few weeks ago, and in the latest episodes of the BBC soap, Elaine found out what had happened.

The Queen Vic landlady was rightly upset – having been wary and jealous of Cindy ever since she arrived back in Walford last year.

During Thursday’s episode, the pair had a heart to heart as she confronted him about what happened, before telling him he needed to leave.

And in spoilers, George wakes up on the sofa at No.55 having been kicked out of The Vic by Elaine.

Meanwhile, Gina and Anna head to No.45 and order Cindy to stay away from George.

Anna reaches out to Junior who arrives in Walford to spend time with his sisters.

However, George feels pushed out when he sees his children bonding in The Vic, but the moment is interrupted when Monique and Xavier arrive and the family discover Junior has a secret family.

Later in the week, the Knights are delighted to bond with Junior’s family, but it’s clear there are still tensions between him and George when Junior makes his excuses to leave.

Elaine reasons they can move into The Vic, and after some persuasion from Gina, Junior agrees to stick around.

Elaine orders Linda, Gina and Anna to butt out after she overhears them gossiping about her current predicament with George.

Elaine heads to No.45 to see Cindy, and tells her that George is hers if she wants him.

Cindy reasons Ian is the man for her as Elaine instructs her to leave George alone once and for all.

But will Cindy listen? And will Elaine find it in her heart to forgive George and let him move back in?
