Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle makes huge decision after husband Tom King brutally 𝕒ttacks her
BELLE found the strength to fight back but will Tom worm his way back in?
EMMERDALE’S Belle Dingle has kicked husband Tom King out after he brutally punched her.
The events planner – who is played by actress Eden Taylor Draper in the ITV soap – was attacked by Tom as his campaign of abuse spiralled out of control.
He had been listening into her conversation with Mandy and Lydia about their plans for kids when Mandy cracked a joke about Tom – that sent him off the deep-end and he let slip he had been watching to Belle.
“Were you spying on me?” she said.
“This makes perfect sense. You turned up for quiche that you didn’t even like last night.
“If you are turning this into a joke, you are obviously guilty. And if you don’t feel bad, just tell me.”
Tom lied and claimed he had just accidentally heard what was said while showing Jimmy the puppy cam – but Belle wasn’t convinced.
And when he let slip he had been watching her when she was alone, Belle was horrified.
“Have you any idea how weird and intrusive it feels?” she said before calling him out for his game-playing.
“This is the problem Tom, you can never accept any criticism or admit that the stuff that you do is not normal.
“You burned my hand, destroyed my mum’s ashes. Normal people do not force someone’s hand under a burning tap.”
Tom furiously went back at Belle, insisting she was in the wrong for hiding her pills from him but she didn’t let up.
Confronting him in the kitchen she told him that she was doing this because she cares and that he needed help.
In return he brutally punched her to the floor.
Terrified Belle refused to listen as Tom tried to manipulate her into believing and fled into the bathroom.
He threatened to kick the door down but backed away when she refused to open the door.
Coming downstairs Belle finally found her strength and told him: “You need to leave.
“Go, I’ve just told you. Please Tom. You go or I will. I’ll call Cain, I’ll do it…”
Tom backed down and left as Belle continued to ignore his pathetic pleading but once he was gone she sat sobbing with the dog behind the door.
