Home and Away beauty’s exit ‘sealed’ in shock đť••eath twist just weeks after joining soap
Home and Away newbie Stevie Marlow, played by Catherine Van-Davies, arrived in Summer Bay earlier this year - but the character could be set to be already saying her goodbyes
A Home and Away newcomer could be set to get killed off – just weeks after making her debut.
Stevie Marlow, played by Catherine Van-Davies first appeared on the soap earlier this year. As a mega-successful actress, Stevie hired Cash Newman as her bodyguard following harassment from a seriously creepy stalker.
Fans will recall that soap alum Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) has faced a bit of an identity crisis in recent months. In late last year, he ended up leaving the police force.
He then started working in private security before taking on an interview to become a bodyguard for Stevie. The actress was in desperate need of protection after being hassled by a stalker.
The mystery individual appears to be an obsessed fan of Stevie’s horror films. What’s more, there are creepy connections between the real-life crimes and the on-screen storyline in the flicks too.
And in the soap this week, things take a dramatic turn for Stevie. The actress is sent a package to her front door – which contains an adorable teddy bear.
Stevie brushes it off as a gift from a fan, but Cash thinks differently. His instincts kick in, and he picks apart the bear and finds a hidden camera and microphone concealed inside the bear.
Now, it’s been claimed that Stevie could be set to be killed off by the creepy stalker to “heighten the stakes.” Daily Star has quizzed one of the world’s most popular artificially intelligent “creative” tools Gemini, to see if Stevie could get murdered by the mysterious individual.
The program responded with a list of reasons why the soap might kill Stevie off. Gemini said: “Heightened Stakes: The threat of death raises the stakes significantly, creating a sense of suspense and danger.”
