Home and Away‘s Cash Newman takes drastic action next week as he invites Stevie Marlow to come and stay with him.
Cash decides on this major change to Stevie’s ongoing protection because he can no longer guarantee her safety when he’s not around.
In next week’s episodes on Channel 5, Cash tries to spend some quality time with his girlfriend Eden Fowler after her recent complaints that she’s being pushed out by his new job.
Cash has been devoting most of his time to film star Stevie after she begged him for help over her dangerous stalker. However, this has come at a cost to his relationship.
As Cash and Eden enjoy each other’s company next week, the former policeman’s phone pings with a notification.
Cash has set up alerts for Stevie’s social media, and his worst fears are confirmed when he finds that someone has posted a picture showing the outside of her hotel.
This shows that Stevie’s secret location has been leaked, putting her safety at risk once again.
Cash risks the wrath of Eden by rushing off to join Stevie at the hotel. Things get even worse when Cash returns home with Stevie in tow, revealing that she’ll be staying with him for the foreseeable future.
After Cash helps Stevie get settled into a spare room, Eden confronts him and asks whether this is really a good idea. She also questions why Cash has to bring his work home with him like this when there are plenty of other bodyguards available to Stevie.
Cash clarifies that this course of action was his decision, and these are extraordinary circumstances because Stevie’s life is clearly in danger.
Stevie overhears the argument and packs her bags to leave again, telling Cash she doesn’t want to wreck his relationship.
Cash intervenes and convinces Stevie to stay. Meanwhile, Eden confides in her best friend Remi Carter, who encourages her to see things from Cash’s point of view.
Before long, Cash and Eden agree to talk things through and make the best of the situation. But has Cash brought trouble and danger to his door by inviting Stevie to stay in the Bay?
