After Will was grassed up to the police for his drug work, Dawn was put into foster care and the constant instability and lack of a family unit caused her to turn to prostitution and drugs.

Thankfully, Dawn’s life has become much more stable in recent years thanks to her marriage to Billy Fletcher and her renewed relationship with dad Will and his wife Kim Tate.

But in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, things are set to get turned on their head when she comes face to face with her mum, Rose.

Rose had wound up in hospital, with Will taking a call and rushing to there to be confronted by the familiar face from his past.

In turmoil, Dawn doesn’t want to discuss meeting her with husband Billy.

In the village, an overfamiliar Rose asks for directions to Home Farm, and soon Kim is interrupted by her arrival, with Rose determined to talk to Dawn.

Before long, Dawn and Rose meet, but to Rose’s annoyance Dawn insists Kim sit in on it.

Rose lays her heart on the line but Dawn is firm they will have no relationship.

Kim privately offers Rose £2,000 to return to Spain and never return.

Despite raising the offer to £3,000, Rose won’t budge until Kim coldly reminds her of other options she could take that would be worse and Rose reluctantly accepts and leaves.

However, Rose ends up in the Woolpack ahead of her return flight home and is soon joined by Kerry and Gail.

Seeing her, Billy tells Rose to clear off, but with an audience, Rose turns the tables and blurts out how Kim has paid her off, leaving Dawn stunned.

At Home Farm, Will is frustrated Kim paid off Rose without telling him.

When Dawn returns home with her mother in tow, she explains she’s asked Rose to stay with them…
