Denise Fox discovers husband Jack Branning’s shock affair in EastEnders
Could Denise decide to get revenge in a shocking way against her husband Jack?
JACK Branning has been getting dangerously close to another woman behind his wife Denise Fox’s back.
However, the EastEnders favourite played by Diane Parish figures out what her other half has been up to. How will she react?
BBC One viewers have been terrified for Jack Branning (portrayed by Scott Maslen) as Christmas is fast approaching and they have speculated he could be killed off.
In recent scenes of the London-based program, Jack got closer to Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) as he has struggled to adapt to his role of grandfather for Charli.
This has led the pair to canoodle behind Denise’s back, thus prompting the hairstylist to try and fight for her marriage.
Despite her best efforts, Denise’s sister Kim Fox (Tameka Empson) reasoned that she must divorce Jack as their marriage is clearly beyond help.
After finding out that Jack and Stacey had been getting closer, Denise decided once and for all that she wants to put an end to her marriage but she was stopped by a horrified Amy who fled from No.27.
Both Jack and Denise tried to look for Amy and, once they found her, things between them turned sour again as he blackmailed her into staying together for his daughter’s mental health.
In scenes due on our screens, things are tense between Stacey and Jack as she collects Charli before the Slaters enjoy a festive family lunch for Christmas.
Jack then heads to No.41 to check in on Suki Panesar (Balvinder Sopal) under false pretences.
However, he is the last person Suki wants help from and she dismisses him vehemently.
Later on, Stacey, Denise and Suki are both involved in a huge murder mystery alongside Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) and Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Many fans of the long-running show have speculated that Jack could be the one to perish as Denise figures out how close he got to Stacey Slater.
Viewers have thus taken their theory a step further by suggesting that Denise could be the one to kill him in a fit of jealous rage.
Could they be on to something?
EastEnders airs from Monday to Thursday from 7.30pm on BBC One.
