EastEnders shock as George Knight cheats on Elaine Peacock in heartbreaking scenes
George has gone and done it again, but will Elaine forgive him this time?
EastEnders will be thrown into chaos as George Knight gets intimate with a figure from his past.
The father of three has had a tough time recently on the BBC soap opera following the tragic death of his adoptive mother, Gloria Knight (Elizabeth Counsell).
Since arriving on the square with his two grown-up daughters, Gina and Anna, George has experienced his fair share of ups and downs.
The family of three moved to Walford to be with his partner, Elaine Peacock(Harriet Thorpe), who came to help her daughter, Linda Carter, run the Queen Vic.
Things quickly started changing after George’s ex-wife and the mother of his two children, Cindy Beale(Michelle Collins), whom he knew as Rose Knight, started getting close to him following the devastating revelation about his birth parents.
At the start of the year, Cindy and George had previously come close to kissing, but were interrupted by Elaine.
The pair clearly have unfinished business as they run to each other’s aid whenever one of them gets into hot water.
But now, in upcoming scenes, EastEnders fans will witness George and Cindy share an intimate kiss at Phil’s boxing gym.
Since the ex-lovers met back in Albert Square, even Elaine has noticed a spark between them.
When George discovered his ancestral background was Ghanian, not Jamaican, he ran and confided in Cindy, not his wife-to-be Elaine.
And most recently, Elaine was stuck at a crossroads with George when he was summoned to court for his adoptive dad Eddie’s brutal court case where he was accused of killing Grorge’s birth father.
The ex-boxer refused to open up to his other half until Cindy stepped in, and they both got down to what was really bothering him.
Now, with George also having to reach out to his long lost son, it seems likely this new plot will only bring the former flames closer together.
