EastEnders confirms a shocking end for character as he’s officially charged with 𝕞urder
Dean’s future is not looking good
This article contains spoilers for Monday’s (April 15) EastEnders, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on BBC iPlayer.
EastEnders has confirmed a shocking ending for Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) after being framed for the murder of Keanu Taylor by The Six.
Recent scenes have seen The Six battle over what to do to keep their secret hidden following the discovery of Keanu’s body beneath the cafe floor.
When Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) was arrested, the rest of the women decided to keep hold of the murder weapon in case they needed turn on Linda Carter (Kellie Bright).
Dean’s future is not looking good
Linda had other ideas, however, and revealed that she planned to confess to stabbing Keanu on Christmas Day.
Fortunately, before it came to that, Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) was struck by a plan, which would hopefully get The Six off the hook as well as finally put rapist Dean behind bars.
After entering his flat under false pretences, Stacey planted the weapon, before Linda tipped off the police.
Dean was promptly arrested, and as his interrogation continued, things weren’t looking good for him.
The fact that Dean had planned to take daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green) to America at short notice and had stolen funds from her charity account in order to do so did not go in his favour, and once the confusion had worn off, Dean realised what was going on.
He was quick to announce that he had been framed, and believed that either Stacey, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) or Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) were behind it.
When police went to question them, the truth soon came out about Dean tampering with Jade’s medication, which was backed up by Jade herself.
With all of this information and test results confirming that the meat thermometer in Dean’s flat had been used to kill Keanu, Dean was promptly charged with his murder.
Is this the end for Dean? Have The Six got away with murder and sent evil Dean down in their place?
