Amy Walsh revealed why she’ll never share another scene with Laura Norton
Emmerdale legend Amy Walsh has revealed why she’ll never share scenes with co-star Laura Norton, despite them being close friends.
Laura recently returned to her role as Kerry Wyatt in the ITV soap, having taken time off to have her second child.
In new series Drama Queens, which follows the lives of nine soap stars, viewers got to see Laura’s return to work, which included a reunion with Tracy Shankley actress Amy.
As the pair chatted in the make up room, they reflected on the fact that they will never share a scene again, and expressed their disappointment at this.

‘How annoying is it that we’re not going to have any scenes together?’ Amy pointed out.
‘Because you killed my dad,’ she added.
Viewers will remember that Tracy’s dad, Frank, was killed off in a fire at the factory back in 2019.
The fire was unintentionally started by Kerry and daughter Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson) while they attempted to delete CCTV footage to cover up the fact that Kerry had stolen charity money from the safe.
When Frank realised that Tracy was inside the burning building, he ran in to save her.
After dragging her out, he rushed back in to retrieve the engagement ring he had bought, intending to propose to Megan Macey (Gaynor Faye).
However, it all ended in disaster when Frank emerged from the building, only for it to blow up, causing him fatal injuries.
Tracy was left completely devastated when paramedics were unable to revive him, and spent months defending her father’s innocence when the villagers grew convinced that he had been the one to steal the charity money.
Eventually, Tracy found out the truth about Kerry and Amy’s involvement, and ended up pushing Kerry, resulting in her needing to go to hospital.
It was then decided that Tracy would keep quiet about their role in the fire in exchange for them keeping quiet about her pushing Kerry.
Because of this, it is unlikely that Amy and Laura will ever share scenes again, much to their disappointment.
