EastEnders teen rocked to find out there is a 𝕞urderer in their midst

Avani was shocked by a sudden revelation

The EastEnders teens love a bit of gossip, and one of their neighbours being arrested for murder is a sure fire topic of conversation.

Recent scenes saw Keanu Taylor’s body be discovered in the cafĂ©, having been buried there by The Six after Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) stabbed him to death on Christmas Day.

After identifying his body, police were quick to arrest Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean), believing that she had a motive to kill him.

It didn’t take long for Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd), Avani Nandra-Hart (Aaliyah James) and Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) to start sharing their theories about what happened, with Avani revealing that she suspected Sharon had caught Keanu ‘with his trousers round his ankles’ and had stabbed him with a bread knife.

Nugget Gulati (Juhaim Rasul Chowdhry) jibed that Amy’s dad Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) needed to be careful, given that he had recently been caught cheating on Denise Fox (Diane Parish).

Little did they know that both Jack and Denise knew the truth about Keanu’s murder, with Denise having witnessed Linda’s attack and Jack having discovered Denise and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) trying to dig up the body.

Lily wasn’t convinced by Avani’s theory, and insisted that Sharon wouldn’t kill anyone.

Amy was quick to retort that Lily’s mum, Stacey, had killed someone, so it wouldn’t be out of the realms of possibility.

Avani was totally shocked by how casually this had been dropped into conversation, and was eager to find out more about Stacey’s previous murder.

Viewers will remember that Stacey was revealed to be Archie Mitchell’s killer during the 25th anniversary live episode in 2010.

After being raped by Archie, Stacey crept into the Queen Vic on Christmas Day and pushed the bust of Queen Victoria onto his head.

She spent years on the run after committing the crime, before eventually spending some time behind bars.

Because of this, she wanted nothing to do with covering up Keanu’s murder at first, and urged the other women to call the police and tell the truth, by explaining that it had been self defence as Keanu was strangling Sharon.

Eventually, Stacey agreed to go along with the plan to cover it up, and has just about managed to maintain composure in the months since.

However, with Sharon looking dangerously close to being charged with the crime, Stacey took a huge risk in recent scenes and decided to frame Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) for the murder.

Will she get away with it, and manage to get The Six off the hook?
