Home and Away spoiler: Mac’s affair sparks further tension

Mackenzie and Levi rendezvous in private after convincing Mali and Tane to give them space. It’s a joyful moment for the secret lovers, until Mac’s curiosity gets the better of her and she realises Levi is still intimate with his wife. It’s an unwelcome reminder of their circumstance. They agree they both went into this with their eyes open, but Mackenzie can’t help but wish things could be easier.

Mali can’t be honest with Rose about his housemate’s affair, even when he and Tane have been booted from home for the day. When he does have to return, he comes face to face with Levi, but Mackenzie intervenes with the truth – Mali knows everything. This is unwelcome news to Levi, despite Mackenzie reassuring him they won’t say a word.

Later, Levi is confronted by Mali, who wants to know how many women he’s having an affair with. Mac convinces Levi to stay, giving Mali a shocking ultimatum – if he doesn’t like the way she lives, he can get out of her house.

Meanwhile, Dana vents to Irene about her crush, concealing his identity. She explains that she’s not ready to date again after what she went through with her ex. Irene is understanding but promises there are a lot of great guys out there. Dana’s phone pings with a text from Xander, and she’s unable to mask a hopeful smile.

When they’re together later on, Rose can spot the attraction a mile off and wastes no time confronting Dana for having a crush on Xander. Rose is excited, but Dana convinces her to keep it quiet for now.

Elsewhere, Harper has decided to bite the bullet and go on a date with Derek, her Smouldr match. She’s nervous, despite Tane’s encouragement. Derek comes across cool and confident, but it’s soon clear that he isn’t over his ex, particularly when he can’t recall Harper’s name. An invite back to his place to fool around and Harper sends him packing, opting for pizza with Tane instead.
