Former Home and Away star Melissa George has welcomed her third son into the world.
The actress, who played Angel Parrish on the Australian soap, announced the happy news via Instagram yesterday (March 20) by sharing a sweet black and white photo of her newborn baby’s feet.
“Welcome to the world my little man. Love knows no end. A mother of 3 sons. Cannot believe it. My heart is so full,” she captioned the post.
George’s comments section was soon flooded with well wishes and congratulations, including a message from Australian singer Tina Arena, who wrote: “You’ll always be protected… bienvenue little one”.
The former soap star already shares two sons named Raphaël and Solal with her ex-partner Jean-David Blanc.
George first rose to fame for playing teenage runaway Angel on Home and Away from 1993 until her departure in 1996, before going on to make her feature film debut in neo-noir science fiction film Dark City in 1998.
In 2008, she earned a Golden Globe nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role in HBO drama In Treatment.
Previously addressing whether she’d ever return to Home and Away, George said: “They have offered, but I don’t know. [Being associated with the show] is a hard thing to shake, and at one point I tried to shake it, but there is no point.”
