Former EastEnders star Danielle Harold opened up about her anxiety battle ahead of her upcoming TV appearance.
The Lola Pearce actress, 31, announced earlier this week that she was filming the new series of Richard Osman’s House of Games – the gameshow which sees celebrities compete in a series of quiz rounds over the course of a week.
Opening up about the new gig, the I’m A Celebrity star revealed that she was battling nerves ahead of the shoot.
In her latest post on Instagram she wrote: ‘I always get so anxious when I’m going to film a new show I’ve not done before. That first day at school kind of feeling…

‘But I had the best day filming with you guys we laughed a lot. Thank you for a lovely day! What a lovely team and so great to see you again @misterosman he’s the really tall one in the middle.’
Danielle’s character Lola died earlier last year after being diagnosed with a brain tumour. The powerful storyline was emotional and focused on how Lola’s illness impacted her close friends and family, as well as the Walford community.
In the aftermath, while the likes of Ben (Max Bowden) and Billy (Perry Fenwick) struggled with their grief, there was a strong focus on Jay, who even turned to drugs to try and numb his emotions.
During the plot, Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick) started paying a sex worker called Nadine (Jazzy Phoenix) to sleep in the same bed as him.
Lola was also remembered by the residents of Walford at Christmas time last year, with a flash-forward to the festive season having confirmed that a picture of her will be sitting on the bar of the Queen Vic.
During the EastEnders Christmas special, Lola shocks Jay and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) as she reveals they will run this year’s London Marathon in a wholesome clip.
