Home and Away spoiler Monday 25 March: Mac says goodbye to Levi
She makes a fateful decision.
When Levi escapes to the bathroom to take a call from his wife, Mackenzie cannot take being the ‘other woman’ and makes a hasty exit from the hotel. Back at home, she updates Mali that Levi is clearly committed to his marriage and answers his wife’s calls on the first ring.
Levi turns up and admits that he doesn’t want this to end, but Mackenzie thought it was clear – once is a mistake, twice is an affair. They spend the night apart, each yearning for the other to make contact, but neither can bring themselves to reach out.
The next morning, Mackenzie does turn up at the hotel, but only to say goodbye.
Meanwhile, with Alf out of town, Roo and John go head-to-head over the anonymous donor to the Surf Club. Roo is determined to hold off until they know what this person wants, but John thinks they need to spend the money now, or there won’t be a club.
Trying to broker peace between the two, Irene suggests they let the committee decide and to Roo’s despair, every vote goes John’s way. John’s delighted – the funds can be unfrozen, and all their problems are behind them. But when Roo overhears John questioning her competence, she doubles down – she will get to the bottom of this donation, and he’ll be proven wrong yet.
Elsewhere, Xander and Mali are proud of Rose’s new job title – ‘Senior Constable Delaney’ – but she’s a little nervous ahead of her first day. Mali’s encouraging, but shortly after arriving at The Diner for their planned lunch, she has to return to work – there’s way too much to get done.
When she abandons their evening plans to work late, Mali feels rejected. He leaves for work before she wakes up and declines her offer of coffee the next day – he’s busy too. Later, he leaves her a message apologising, but it’s clear Rose’s promotion is already putting pressure on their relationship.
