EastEnders spoilers: Violence explodes as Stacey Slater and Jack Branning’s 𝕤ex scandal sends explosive shockwaves
Stacey and Jack’s affair explodes in dramatic fashion. Is this the end for Jack and Denise?
Stacey Slater and Jack Branning (Lacey Turner and Scott Maslen) have been playing with fire in recent EastEnders scenes, and they finally got their fingers burnt when Martin Fowler (James Bye) caught them in the act.
Stacey and Jack have been having an affair behind Denise Fox’s (Diane Parish) back, but recent scenes saw Stacey call it off before anyone else got hurt.
Unfortunately, they decided it would be a good idea to share a goodbye kiss, which Martin managed to walk in on. Not their smartest move.
Martin was understandably horrified as Stacey admitted to her affair with Jack, but swore to Martin that it was all over and begged him not to say anything.

When Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) also advised him not to break the devastating news to Denise, Martin told Jack that he would keep the secret, though that didn’t last long.
The secret was causing quite the atmosphere at the Branning/Fox/Slater barbecue, and soon Chelsea Fox (Zaraah Abrahams) accosted Martin and warned him that he was ruining things for Denise.
Furious, Martin revealed the real reason for the tension, leaving Chelsea gobsmacked.
Seething Chelsea stormed into the living room where the rest of the family was gathered and announced that Stacey and Jack had slept together.
As she grew more irate, Denise tried to calm the situation by admitting that she knew, and that it was over.
However, when Martin broke the news that they had been all over each other in the garden that very evening, Denise was left heartbroken.
Amy Mitchell and Lily Slater (Ellie Dadd and Lillia Turner) were understandably disgusted, and Chelsea soon began to suspect that knowledge of their affair was what had led to Denise’s hospital stay.
Chelsea soon lashed out at Stacey, slapping her across the face before being pulled away.
The violence didn’t stop there though, as soon Martin and Jack were engaged in a vicious brawl out on the street.
Thankfully, Harvey Monroe (Ross Boatman) stepped in to pull them apart, but he too was disappointed by Stacey’s behaviour.
Poor Lily was left traumatised by the whole ordeal, and soon announced that she was taking baby Charli and would be staying with Martin, before telling Stacey that she hated her.
Martin didn’t go any easier on Stacey pointing out that this was classic Stacey behaviour, and that she would always hurt people to get what she wanted.
It wasn’t just Stacey’s family who turned their backs, with Chelsea swiftly taking Denise back to hers and away from the fall out.
