EastEnders spoilers: Dean Wicks’ vile drugging of ill daughter Jade Masood has terrible consequences

Dean has been tampering with Jade’s antibiotics

Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) has been tampering with ill daughter Jade Masood’s (Elizabeth Green) medication in EastEnders, and it is set to have terrible consequences.

With Jade determined to move to Pakistan with mum Shabnam as soon as she is well enough, Dean has made it his mission to ensure that she doesn’t get any better, in order to keep her close to him.

In order to do this, vile Dean has been emptying her antibiotics without her knowing.

However, in upcoming scenes, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) is left worried when Jade has a terrible coughing fit as a result of her chest infection and previous lung transplant.

Dean is horrified as Jean calls the doctor, terrified of being found out, but things only get worse when Jade looks at his phone, leaving him with a lot of explaining to do.

When Jean and Jade confront him over ignoring Shabnam’s calls and texts, he persuades them that he has just been burying his head in the sand.

This leaves Jade confused, as Shabnam already knows that Jade is too ill to travel to Pakistan at the moment.

Later, Jade asks Dean if she can go to the fundraiser in the Queen Vic that Jean has helped her to organise, and he agrees, on the condition that she is well enough.

However, unbeknown to Jade, he continues to mess with her antibiotics.

At the Vic, Dean is clearly not welcome, but Jade begs Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe) to let him stay long enough to watch her speech.

As she waits for her big moment, Dean begs her not to leave London, but his efforts are in vain as she insists that she wants to move to Pakistan to be with her mum.

From there, things only get worse…
