BBC EastEnders’ Jack Branning’s brutal mur𝕕er ‘rumbled’ as he works out Keanu cover-up

EastEnders’ Jack Branning could be killed off in a dramatic twist, fans believe after new scenes on the BBC soap.

The character came dangerously close to the truth about Keanu Taylor’s disappearance in the latest episode, months on from his secret demise. The Six know that Keanu was killed and has been buried under the café, while they told the police he was on the run for attacking Nish Panesar.

Stacey’s revelation about Denise led to him scanning the interviews and evidence from Christmas, with him unsure why the women would lie that Keanu attacked Nish. He also wanted answers on why Keanu would flee Walford if he was innocent.

In the latest episode he looked for clues before begging Denise to tell him everything about Keanu. He also told her she needed to confess to the police about her being the attacker.

Denise ended up giving her husband an ultimatum, telling him that he either chose her and their family or he pursued the case. Jack was left in tears as Denise left, with him fearing the end of his marriage while worrying over the risk to his career if the truth came out.

Of course he has no idea Keanu is dead, so his fears he will return to expose Denise will not come to life. But now viewers think Jack will continue looking into the case, and might even find out about Keanu’s death.

Either way, viewers are predicting The Six will need to silence Jack to cover up their crimes, and that he could end up being killed. Taking to X, viewers suggested he could be killed off after getting to close to the truth.

One fan posted: “At this point I’d hit Jack with a bottle D, just get rid of him.” Another theorised: “I have a feeling Jack will be murdered by the six women. I think he will dig too deep they will have to get rid of them.. #EastEnders @RealScottMaslen my theory.”
