EastEnders confirms devastating 𝕕eath as resident is left reeling by tragic news

George received tragic news. His mother had 𝕕ied four months ago. Will he be okay?

George Knight (Colin Salmon) was left reeling in recent EastEnders scenes after a mysterious visitor revealed some tragic news.

The pub landlord had convinced himself that the woman he had seen while taking the stand in court for dad Eddie’s (Christopher Fairbank) murder trial was his biological mother, who he had spent weeks searching for.

Determined to get to the truth about his real family, George asked Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) for help.

The younger lawyer was able to find the woman’s contact details and pass them on to George, who gave her his address in the hopes that they could talk.

Just as he had given up all hope, George was shocked when the woman arrived at the Queen Vic, though she wasn’t who he thought she was.

George was left disappointed when the woman explained that she wasn’t his biological mother, but met her when they were training to become nurses.

The woman told George all about his mother, and explained how his birth parents had won an appeal to get George back, though when his dad went back to the UK to collect him, he never came home.

She explained how Eddie had written back to George’s mother saying that his dad had collected him and left, though of course that wasn’t the truth, as Eddie had actually murdered him.

The woman then left George reeling when she revealed that his mother had died four months ago, following the discovery of her husband’s body.

George was left completely devastated, even after the woman revealed that he had two younger brothers.

She assured him that his mother loved him, but George was left in turmoil at having lost her so suddenly.

As the woman left, George left the pub, reeling. Will he be okay?
