Emmerdale’s Cain Dingle ‘set to mur𝕕er again’ as old rivalry is reignited – and it’s not Aaron

For the first time in months, Cain isn’t after Aaron

There’s one man in Emmerdale that you don’t want to mess with, and after twenty four years in the village, there aren’t main residents that haven’t crossed Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).

In the last few months, Cain has hit out at nephew Aaron (Danny Miller) upon his return to the ITV soap.

In his absence, Aaron has struggled with grieving his sister Liv’s (Isobel Steele) death and hasn’t allowed his family to counsel him through it.

Last month, a pricey car that was being serviced at Cain’s garage was stolen by Aaron and partner-in-crime Mack Boyd (Lawrence Robb), and it wasn’t long before the family members engaged in a fist fight leaving Cain unconscious.

Cain has also had a tense relationship with half-brother Caleb Milligan (William Ash), who was born following their mum Faith’s (Sally Dexter) fling with Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) in the late 70s.

Despite spending his life in the care system and being kept a secret, the two crossed paths as teenagers when Caleb came looking for his estranged family and Cain took the rap for him stealing a vehicle to save him any further anguish.

Two years ago, in a sneaky plot to get his hands on the Home Farm Estate and grow his dad’s empire, Caleb sabotaged Moira’s (Natalie J Robb) tractor, forcing her to sell her farm back to Kim Tate (Claire King).

Caleb was eventually welcomed into the Dingle family, but with him engaging in a steamy affair with Cain’s daughter-in-law Tracey Robinson (Amy Walsh) over the last few months, it was undoubtedly not going to be long before their relationship ended up fractured again.

In tonight’s (February 15th) explosive episode, the affair was exposed by Ruby Fox-Milligan (Beth Cordingly) at the wedding of Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom King (James Chase), leaving Cain furious.

Not only did she manage to ruin a Dingle wedding, but she also tore Tracey’s husband Nate’s heart to shreds.

As he comforted his son, Cain vowed to get his revenge on Caleb for what he’s done.

Uh-oh.

Meanwhile, another Emmerdale man wants to watch his back as Belle’s unease ahead of her nuptials was picked up on by her protective brother.

‘You’re the only one of us with brains and beauty. You deserve the world and that bloke in there, he needs to make you happy – always’ he told her.

‘He will’ she promised.

Cain then asserted: ‘he better.’

Viewers have seen Tom emotionally abuse his wife over recent months and in tonight’s episode he lashed out at her after the disastrous day.

Could Cain have two names on his hit list, and should Caleb and Tom be worried? Silly question, we know.
