Emmerdale spoilers: Baby 𝕜idnapped, wedding fears and 𝕤ex war

Desperate measures lead to heartache

Tensions are running high as Emmerdale couples come under scrutiny as an affair deepens, while engaged couple Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and Tom King (James Chase) head for disaster.

Elsewhere in the village, Rhona Goskirk’s (Zoe Henry) longing to be a mum to Ivy leads her to take life-changing action when she disappears with the baby.

Back home, her loved ones fear the worst, and Gus prepares to call the police – will Rhona’s shocking act destroy her entire future?

Over in the Woolpack, Belle and Tom’s pre-wedding celebrations get underway, but the dark undertones of Tom’s nature start to come through, as he is less than impressed by his bride-to-be’s family.

And Caleb Miligan (William Ash) continues to play with fire as he both romances and antagonises Tracy Shankley (Amy Walsh) and Ruby (Beth Cordingly)

Monday February 5

Moira advises Tracy not to throw it all away with but she tells Nate she no longer loves him.

His shock turns to anger as he demands to know why their marriage is over. As he slams out of the house, a devastated and Tracy breaks down in tears. On the outskirts of the village, Nate is in a daze as he wanders aimlessly.

Against his better judgement, Caleb invites him to come home with him.

Angelica prepares to return to school for the first time since the accident. Jimmy apologises to Bob who vows they will never be friends again.

Wendy listens to Bob rant about Jimmy and urges him to put an end to this, for Cathy’s sake. Jimmy and Nicola are left anxious by mention of a home visit from the Youth Justice Service.

Rhona’s concerned Gus is coping well with Ivy and filled with dread when Gus explains he wants Ivy back full time.

As he packs up her things and heads out with her, Rhona tells Marlon that she hopes Ivy will play up for Gus.

Belle’s thrown Tom is more in the know about their wedding than she is and demands to be kept in the loop. Belle, Tom and Suzy organise the stag/hen “a Sten do”.

Tuesday February 6

Tracy’s shocked to learn Nate is staying with Caleb. Concerned Cain tries to bolster Nate as Ruby shares a knowing look when Nate remarks he thinks Tracy’s seeing somebody else.

Caleb’s perturbed when Ruby urges them to find out who Tracy’s secret lover is. Later, Ruby’s suspicious to see Nicky and Caleb arguing.

Rhona meets up with Gus and she smothers baby Ivy with affection.

Tom speaks to a worried BelleShe’s upset to hear Gus is coping with Ivy well and distraught when Gus reveals he is finding them both a permanent new home. Marlon asks Gus whether he’d be willing to let them co-parent.

Tom’s hurt when Jimmy awkwardly declines the chance to be his best man. Belle worries the wedding could be insensitive and she and Tom agree to scale it back.

Nicola’s shocked when Charles refuses to give a character reference for Angelica. He’s appalled when Nicola brings up her past with Naomi.

Wednesday February 7

Ruby is determined to discover why Caleb and Nicky were arguing. Meanwhile Tracy is stunned Nate is moving back home and they agree to continue living together for Frankie’s sake.

Belle and Tom announce they’re not having bridesmaids or groomsmen but Mandy is given food for thought.

Marlon tells Rhona that he offered Gus the option of co-parenting. but Gus tells them he plans to move to France.

Thursday February 8

It’s the day of the sten do but Tom walks into the office and catches sight of Belle’s wedding dress, leaving Suzy mortified.

When Suzy also tells him Marlon is now doing the wedding cake, Tom is annoyed to be out of the loop. Later, Suzy shows the wedding dress to a delighted Belle before admitting Tom has already seen it.

As the sten begins, Mandy and Sarah handcuff Belle and force her home for a ‘proper’ hen do.

Tom immediately misses Belle. Meanwhile she’s having the time of her life as the ladies celebrate with the addition of a cardboard cut out of a ‘hunked up’ Tom.

Drunk Tom looks worse for wear as he pours his heart out to Suni. Later, Belle escorts a drunk, yet loved up Tom home. 

Guilty over his decision to go, Gus asks if Rhona and Marlon can take care of Ivy for the day, giving them a chance to say goodbye properly. With all hope lost, Rhona is broken.

Later, Marlon’s returns home to find Ivy and Rhona missing, along with their belongings.

Panicked, he explains to Mary that Rhona has taken off with Ivy. Both are frantic with worry as they begin the search.

Ruby apologises to Nate for her behaviour at the lunch and Caleb and Nicky are relieved to see she’s playing nice.

Caleb buries a flicker of jealousy to see Nate and Tracy close again. Later, tipsy Ruby returns home and despite being irritated by her, Caleb can’t help but pull her in for a passionate kiss.

Nicola dreads the day, as the Youth Justice visit looms.

Friday February 9

Rhona’s absence is causing chaos.

It’s the twins’ birthday and Bob and Brenda try to keep their grief from Cathy. Angel offers an olive branch to Cathy and they grieve in silence together.

Charity’s not herself and Marlon senses something is up
