BBC EastEnders fans left ‘ripping nose hairs out’ over dramatic Jack and Stacey affair

EastEnders viewers have been left torn after discovering that Jack Branning and Stacey Slater will secretly have an affair, with him saying he has no to stay with his partner, Denise

EastEnders fans have voiced their opinions after Jack Branning and Stacey Slater ended up sleeping together again.

In recent weeks fans of the BBC soap have seen the aftermath of their previous drunken fling before Christmas, with Jack’s partner, Denise Fox, hitting out at Stacey on several occasions. But as things between Jack and Denise come to blows while she secretly deals with the drama surrounding attacking Nish.

Before Christmas, Jack and Denise found themselves coming to blows after she almost slept with Ravi, with the pair later spending some time apart. Following a drunken encounter, Stacey and Jack ended up sleeping together, with Denise later finding out. But as their relationship crumbles, it appears that Jack has made his mind up and decided there’s no way back – he instead, wants Stacey.

In the latest instalment of the soap, Jack grows closer to Stacey after a court ruling regarding their grandaughter, Charli Branning and her guardianship. But as Denise was left crumbling over the fallout of the Christmas attack and subsequent murder of Keanu, she stormed out of the court leaving Jack and Stacey to get close.

Unbeknownst to their families who are in the next room, Jack and Stacey share a passionate kiss in her kitchen, with Jack explaining that while he said “No,” the night before, he “liked being” with Stacey and wanted to take things further. But Denise was left at home, crying in bed, with her step-daughter, Amy Mitchell (Jack’s daughter) comforting her in bed.

But just down the road, Jack and Stacey were seen in bed, cuddling one another after a heated embrace. “Tell me the truth, is this just another one-off?” she asked the police officer, who responded: “No, no, this is real, this is what I want,” before they once again shared a passionate kiss.

Viewers, however, have taken to social media to share their views on the storyline, with one writing: “I actually think Stacey and Jack would make a smashing couple, I am glad he’s with her now after he said it’s serious between them, he needs to get rid of Denise.” A second went on to write: “There is certainly chemistry between Jack and Stacey.”

Meanwhile, a third commented: “I love Jack and Stacey together.” Another typed: “Jack & Stacey are so cringy but I kinda like them.” But some were not in agreement, with one penning: “Cruel and selfish of them both, they both only ‘want’ it cos they’re lonely and she’ll end up pregnant again…”

“Nowt like being put off ya breakfast seeing Jack and Stacey at it. Worse part is Stacey knows why Denise is falling apart! She should have sent him home to Denise not jumped on another Branning ding a ling,” fumed another. Elsewhere, another tweeted: “Also this Jack Stacey thing is so foul it makes me want to rip my nose hairs out. It’s just a way to facilitate Max returning for let’s repeat the same crap part 483.”
