ITV Emmerdale fans rumble prison twist for Kim Tate after shock confession
Emmerdale fans are convinced Kim Tate could end up in prison in a huge twist after she made a shock confession about Craig's deαth this evening
Emmerdale fans have rumbled a prison twist for Kim Tate after she made a shock confession tonight.
Kim sat down with Lydia tonight after noticing her friend was really struggling. She decided that, in order to help Sam and Lydia’s marriage, she would tell her friend about what really happened to Craig that night he died.
Viewers know that Craig was killed when Kim’s horse kicked him in the head, but Sam believed he was responsible for what happened as he had attacked Craig before his death. Kim and Cain later covered the death up and didn’t call for an ambulance – something which Lydia fumed over when Kim finally revealed the truth.
Sitting down with Lydia, she explained she was responsible for what happened to Craig – but not completely liable, as it was the horse who wielded the fatal blow rather than her. Lydia was horrified by the revelation and ordered Kim out of her house.
Reacting to the scenes, some fans predicted what would happen next. “Christ, what is wrong with Lydia, I bet she’ll grass on Kim now… #emmerdale,” one wrote, whilst a second added: “Lydia turning on Kim is the last straw. Had sympathy with her…. until now!!!! If she stitches Kim up I’ll be livid!!!” A third shared: “Kim, why tell her any of that? Not usually the character to walk into confessions.”
“Kim, why tell her any of that? Not usually the character to walk into confessions,” another fan noted, with a fifth writing: “FFS Kim! Telling her that isn’t going to help, it’s just going to give her something else to whine about #Emmerdale.”
We are yet to find out whether the pair’s friendship can be saved – but Caleb actor William Ash has teased fireworks ahead for him and Kim Tate, as he seeks revenge over her ruining his plan to secure Home Farm earlier this year.
He said: “His antenna’s up for anything that’s leverage for getting Kim out of Home Farm, or just getting one over on Kim. That’s still running through him… We all know those people. They’ve got problems, haven’t they? He’s got problems, which motivates why he behaves that way, so he can have what he wants. He’s really successful as a businessman and made loads of money and done it all off his own bat, so I think he naturally has that ruthlessness. He can just flick a switch and switch off from emotional consequences.”
