EastEnders spoilers: đť•–vil Dean Wicks uses daughter Jade Masood to weasel into the community after she is hurt
Vile Dean realised he could use Jade to his advantageÂ
Just when we thought Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) couldn’t stoop any lower in EastEnders, he has taken to using vulnerable daughter Jade Masood (Elizabeth Green) to worm his was back into the community that has rightly shunned him.
Dean returned to Albert Square last October and received a hostile welcome from almost everybody.
Despite the fact that it is common knowledge in Walford that Dean raped Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and tried to do the same to Roxy Mitchell (Rita Simons), he was determined to build a life there, still arguing that he was innocent of any wrongdoing.
During a terrifying confrontation for Linda, Dean revealed that he planned to move back to Albert Square in order to be closer to daughter Jade, who was in need of a lung transplant.
Vile Dean realised he could use Jade to his advantage
Thankfully, Jade received the transplant she needed, but Dean has shown no signs of leaving Walford, despite Jade’s mum Shabnam making it very clear that she doesn’t want him involved in their daughter’s life.
However, in recent scenes Jade arrived to stay with Dean, claiming that she was tired of her mum fussing over her, and Dean soon realised that he may be able to use her to his advantage.
He was instantly cheered up when Jade revealed that she believed him over Linda about what had happened between them, and was struck with an idea when Jade admitted how much she had liked Gina Knight (Francesca Henry).
Gina had finally seen Dean’s true colours the previous evening and kicked him to the curb, much to the relief of her family.
However, this didn’t stop Dean from trying his luck, asking her to spend some time with Jade, who he claimed was lonely and had low self-confidence following her transplant.
Thankfully, Gina saw through him, and retorted that he should ask Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd) to keep her company. Viewers will know that it was Amy calling out their relationship that helped Gina see what was really going on, and Dean didn’t take too kindly to the suggestion.
Later, an accident in the market led to Jade taking a nasty fall, and soon Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) and Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton) had rallied round to help.
Once they had got Jade safely home, Dean spotted a potential way back into the fold of the community, and asked Jean if Jade could go round and visit Lily Slater (Lillia Turner) some time.
Jean agreed to ask Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), but made it clear that people were only being kind to Jade because they liked her and Shabnam.
Will Dean ever get the message that he isn’t wanted in Walford?
