EastEnders reveals Cindy Beale’s exit offer for Dean Wicks
Following Dean and Gina's relationship being outed.
Cindy Beale has offered Dean Wicks money in exchange for leaving Walford in EastEnders.
Earlier this week, Dean horrified Linda Carter and the Knight family by publicly declaring his love for secret girlfriend Gina Knight in front of the entire pub.
In Tuesday’s (January 23) episode, Gina faced a backlash from her family, especially since she was making it seem like she believed Dean over Linda despite his evil past.
Gina reacted defensively, warning her family that she wasn’t going to let them control her. However, she also lashed out at Dean for not respecting her wish for their relationship to stay private.
When Dean was eventually able to talk Gina into giving him another chance, Cindy Beale insisted she was going to do something to stop him.
Dean and Gina later made their first outing as a couple, though Amy Mitchell was seated nearby and gave Gina something to think about.
Amy pointed out that it wasn’t solely about Dean’s past with Linda — he’d also tried to rape the teen’s late mother Roxy Mitchell. Gina attempted to defend her boyfriend, pointing out that Roxy had tried to poison Dean.
“Don’t think my mum was some kind of pushover,” Amy told Gina. “She was exactly like you — strong, fearless. That didn’t stop him though, did it?”
Amy then warned Gina: “[Dean] destroys people’s lives. He’s a rapist.”
Later, Cindy approached her Beale’s Eels business partner Dean to see if she could scare him away from Gina by offering him £60k to walk away from Walford once again.
“Sixty grand if you leave Beale’s Eels, Walford and, most importantly, Gina… tonight,” Gina offered him.
