Emmerdale spoilers: Jai Sharma erupts with fury as 𝕕eadly dad Amit takes shrewd action

Amit (Anil Goutam) has been trying to win Jai (Chris Bisson) back over ever since he discovered Amit’s hand in Rishi’s (Bhasker Patel) death in Emmerdale, but Jai has made it abundantly clear he wouldn’t wee on his biological dad if he was on fire.

But Amit is nothing if not determined. He has been refusing to give Jai the space he asked for, leading to several heated exchanges and Jai barely being able to keep it together at work.

At the end of his tether, Jai then began taking his frustration out on Suni (Brahmdeo Shannon Ramana), who ultimately got the sack, taking the fall for Amit’s refusal to back off.

Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) called Jai out for his behaviour, who later changed his mind and rehired Suni. But he once again asserted himself to Amit that he wanted to be left alone.

Jai is furious

Ah, dear, sweet, naïve Jai, thinking he can control Amit and what he does. Amit came up with a plan to get closer to his son whether he likes it or not which involved a clandestine meeting with Gabby (Rosie Bentham).

The results of that meeting are about to be shared.

Jai’s jaw hits the floor so hard it punches a hole to Australia when he learns of Amit’s shrewd new move – he’s bought into The Hide.

Having wooed Gabby with the promise of oodles of extra cash to expand the business and ultimately her pay packet, Amit is now a proud part owner of the business where Jai works.

This is very unfortunate for Jai, having stated he never wants to speak to Amit again.

Instead, Amit will now not only be a permanent fixture in his life, he’ll have control of part of it too. Jai is hit with rage at the news. How will he seek revenge?
