EastEnders spoilers: Cindy Beale takes on rapist Dean Wicks and executes a big plan
In next episodes of EastEnders, Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) confronts Dean Wicks (Matt Di Angelo) after discovering that he is seeing her daughter Gina Knight (Francesca Henry).
Dean was identified as Cindy and Ian’s (Adam Woodyatt) business partner soon after he returned to Walford. The couple had little option but to work with Dean in order to start their new pie and mash store, and they had to cope with the backlash from their friends and family for working with the guy who had sexually assaulted Linda (Kellie Bright).
Dean eventually makes the decision to disclose Gina’s connection to the world, but she is adamant about keeping it under wraps out of concern for her family’s opinion.
Following a conversation with Ian, Dean chooses to show that he is committed to the relationship by making a significant gesture.
Then, disgusting Linda and the Knights, he storms into the tavern with a bundle of roses and confesses his love for Gina.
Gina rushes away, telling her family she doesn’t need their approval, but she surprises Dean by stating she needs some alone time. Gina bites back at their rage.
Then, Cindy shows there, learns of the news, and is about to charge in, but George (Colin Salmon) stops her.
Cindy chooses to approach the issue differently and makes Dean an offer even though she is barred from angrily addressing him.
Later in the week, Cindy gives Dean till the end of the day to decide, but when he finds out what Cindy has been up to with Gina, things become worse.
What is Dean doing, though?
Is his newfound connection to Gina a part of a larger scheme?
Will he ultimately decide to accept Cindy’s offer?
