EastEnders spoilers: Double exit drama for Kim Fox and Howie Danes amid devastation for Denise Fox
Kim and Howie have a big decision to make
Kim Fox and Howie Danes (Tameka Empson and Delroy Atkinson) are set to receive a huge opportunity away from Albert Square, but it could prove devastating for struggling Denise Fox (Diane Parish) in EastEnders.
Kim is left totally floored when Howie reveals that he’s been offered a three-month contract on a cruise ship, and soon grows concerned that his head may be turned while he’s away.
In a bid to get her on side, Howie invites her to a photoshoot for the company to prove that she has no competition.
However, his plan backfires when Kim meets his boss, Rory, and instantly notices the striking resemblance between herself and the woman Howie is set to spend three months with.
Kim and Howie have a big decision to make
It doesn’t take long for news to reach the group that ticket sales for the trip are down, and soon Kim jumps in with her knowledge of social media to advise them on how to solve the crisis.
Impressed by her knowledge and skills, Rory offers Kim a position as social media manager on the cruise, meaning she will be able to accompany Howie and put her mind at ease, while also earning at the same time.
Things are looking great for the couple, until Kim learns that Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) has been playing up at school, and Yolande Trueman (Angela Wynter) believes it is down to their impending trip away.
Kim feels terrible for not taking Denzel’s feelings into consideration, and she and Howie make the difficult decision to stay in Walford. However, when they bring it up with Denzel, he reassures them that all will be fine, and urges them to go.
But Denzel isn’t the only person giving them second thoughts about leaving, as Denise’s mental wellbeing becomes a point of concern for Denise.
Viewers will know that Denise has been in pieces since learning that her necklace has been buried with Keanu Taylor’s body, placing her at the scene of the crime and making her the prime suspect if he is ever discovered.
When Kim tries to talk to Denise about her mental health, concerned that she may be experiencing PTSD symptoms after supposedly witnessing Nish Panesar’s (Navin Chowdhry) attack, the mention of Christmas triggers Denise, and she rushes off.
Full of worry for her sister, Kim decides against going on the cruise, but later Denise lies that she is just feeling fragile because of her marriage problems, and urges Kim to go.
Will Kim and Howie take this once in a lifetime opportunity, or stay in Walford for the sake of their family?
