EastEnders spoilers: Phil Mitchell and Emma Harding’s cheating finally exposed with big consequences
Phil’s secret fling is set to be exposed in dramatic fashion
Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) took a huge risk last year when he slept with Emma Harding (Patsy Kensit) just days before his wedding to Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace), and that decision is set to come back and bite him in upcoming EastEnders scenes.
Kat has remained blissfully unaware of Phil’s betrayal and has settled nicely into married life. So much so, that she and Phil are set to throw a joint birthday karaoke party in upcoming scenes.
However, before the celebration rolls around, Phil and the other Mitchells are faced with the sombre occasion of Aunt Sal’s funeral, and it isn’t long before family politics begins to ruin the wake.
Having learnt that Aunt Sal has left £100,000 to her and her brothers, Sam Mitchell (Kim Medcalf) demands her share from Phil, though he refuses to hand it over.

Later, Sam gets talking to a jealous Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), who reveals Phil’s infidelity with Emma. Sam instantly realises that she now has some leverage, and wastes no time in heading over to blackmail Phil for her share of the inheritance.
However, Phil isn’t one to be easily rattled, and he refuses to budge as Sam threatens to reveal his secret.
Later, Kat spots Phil conspiring with Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) across the Square and grows suspicious of what they might be up to, though after confronting Ben she is still none the wiser.
Following the chat with his son, Phil finally caves to Sam’s demands, agreeing to hand over the money.
Unfortunately, that isn’t enough for scorned Sam.
As Phil and Kat share a sweet heart to heart over recent events, their moment of happiness is short-lived when Sam takes to the mic – and we’re not talking about a round of drunk karaoke.
Scheming Sam revels in revealing Phil’s dirty secret to the entire pub, leaving Kat reeling.
However, it isn’t just Phil left to face the consequences of his actions, as Sam soon faces contempt for her performance.
Though son Ricky Mitchell (Frankie Day) is in her corner, Jack Branning (Scott Maslen) soon orders her to leave. Will she listen?
