EastEnders confirms return for Bianca Jackson as Patsy Palmer reprises role
Luckily Ricky's not around to be screamed at.
EastEnders has confirmed that Bianca Jackson is returning to the soap, with Patsy Palmer reprising her famous role.
The actress is already back on set filming and will be seen on screen again in the spring, with the BBC confirming that Bianca will be back for a short stint.
Bianca’s return plot begins when Whitney Dean and Zack Hudson go to visit her in Milton Keynes, in a special episode focusing on Whitney. Following Bianca’s off-screen break-up with partner Terry, drama and chaos are set to ensue.
“I’m so excited to be reprising the role of Bianca,” Palmer said. “EastEnders holds such a special place in my heart so it’s always a pleasure to be back.”
The soap’s executive producer Chris Clenshaw added: “I’m thrilled to welcome the fabulous Patsy back to the iconic role of Bianca Jackson.
“Although the character was last seen on-screen in 2019, Bianca still remains a fan favourite. We know our audiences will be thrilled at her return as she is thrust into the heart of the drama alongside step-daughter Whitney.”
Bianca first appeared on EastEnders in 1993, and has had several stints on the soap over the years. Her last on-screen appearance was in September 2019, when she returned for Whitney’s disastrous wedding to Callum Highway.
Coming up this week on EastEnders, Aunt Sal’s funeral will lead to fireworks, with the week of big Mitchell drama subject to a schedule change.
