Emmerdale spoilers: Broken Aaron Dingle left alone after agonising rejection

Since Aaron (Danny Miller) momentarily believed his mother Chas (Lucy Pargeter) had been shot in Emmerdale, there has been a thawing in him.

It was then that he showed the tiniest hint of weakness, panicking that he’d lost her.

It’s a sign that his terror reign—which resulted with his mother disowning him for his brutal treatment of Ethan (Emile John)—is about to come to an end.

Aaron made Ethan feel uncomfortable in front of everyone by having sex with the lawyer, and then humiliated him.

What made matters worse was that Ethan was already struggling financially after losing his position at the company for standing up for Suni against a homophobic assault. For Chas, Aaron’s actions had been the last straw.

But now that the other parts of his determination have been compromised by the breach in his armour, it leaves him much more vulnerable, and Ethan will undoubtedly get the final laugh.

When Aaron needs assistance, he goes to Ethan, the one person he knows is such a wonderful Samaritan that they will always aid. Ethan graciously sets aside his old feelings to help, but Aaron takes advantage of his kindness and attempts to kiss him.

When Ethan storms out after being confronted, Aaron is left shattered by the rejection rather than his typical sly grin.

He seems different than usual; does this mean he’s accepting his life as a thug? It seems like there could still be a good man beneath Chas, especially with a big cancer narrative ahead of him that is supposed to bring him closer to his mother.

Having said that, maybe we shouldn’t be too duped. Not only has he caused most of his own problems, but there’s also a possibility he was part of the collision that resulted in Heath’s death.

When Chas finds out he was involved in the teen’s death, will she reject him once more?
