Next week on Home and Away, Cash worries about what Stevie’s stalker could be capable of.
Elsewhere, Tane receives further support from the community over baby Maia, but Rose won’t be drawn into helping him.
Here’s a full collection of nine big moments coming up.
1. Cash fears Stevie’s stalker is a killer
Cash realises that Stevie’s stalker has an obsessive interest in her movies. He points out that a photo the stalker sent to Stevie contains the same sequence of numbers that are key to the plot of her Death Throes movie.
When Cash asks if anything strange has happened to Stevie’s co-stars, she confirms that her fellow cast member Crystal died in suspicious circumstances a month ago. Cash panics as he realises that the stalker may have been responsible for Crystal “falling” from a cliff.
2. The stalker strikes again
Stevie is amused when she receives a teddy bear, which she assumes is a cute gift from a fan. Cash investigates the “present” more closely and discovers that a hidden camera and microphone have been concealed inside the bear.
Cash destroys the recording devices, but the damage has already been done as the stalker uploads a picture online showing Cash and Stevie together.
With the stalker’s actions intensifying, Cash advises Stevie to miss an upcoming film premiere. Stevie struggles with this advice, feeling trapped and unable to live her life properly.
3. Theo shares part of the truth
Theo panics as Justin demands answers over what he and Valerie are hiding. He decides to share part of the truth, confirming that he and Valerie are now in a relationship. Theo lies that Kirby is jealous, so this is why she was rowing with them on the beach.
Valerie is unimpressed when Theo explains that Justin and Leah now know they’re an item. Theo argues that it was a necessary move to keep concealing the bigger secret of their continued drug use.
4. Theo starts to resist temptation
Theo tells Valerie that he’s falling in love with her, but she becomes uncomfortable over his devotion and urges him to take it back.
Valerie produces some more pills and puts pressure on Theo to join her in more drug-taking. However, as soon as Valerie isn’t looking, an unsettled Theo removes the pill from his mouth and secretly disposes of it.
5. Eden uncovers one of Levi’s lies
Remi pushes himself too hard while exercising, keen to get back to normal as quickly as possible following the road crash. Eden becomes concerned for her best friend and tries to track down Levi to give him medical attention.
When Eden can’t get through to Levi, she calls his wife Imogen instead. Eden is baffled when Imogen is under the mistaken impression that Levi is staying with her in Summer Bay.
6. Eden confronts Levi
After Levi gives Remi a check-up, Eden confronts him in private over lying to Imogen. Levi fears that Eden will find out he’s having an affair with Mac, so he lies that he has been staying in a hotel because he needs space from Imogen.
When Eden questions whether this is because Imogen is keen to start a family, Levi latches onto this as an excuse and he agrees. Although Eden is sympathetic, she warns Levi not to implicate her in his cover stories again. Levi kicks himself, aware that he can no longer use his main excuse for spending so much time in Summer Bay.
7. Bree loses her temper with Justin
Bree gets angry with Justin as she rebukes him for fixing Remi’s motorbike after the accident, branding the vehicle a “death trap”.
Her day gets worse when she helps aspiring wedding celebrant John film a practice ceremony between Dana and Xander. As Bree watches Dana and Xander recite their fake vows, she realises what she has lost with Remi and confides in Xander about how much she’s struggling.
8. Rose refuses to help Tane
Alf and Roo sympathise with Tane now that he has been banned from spending time with the baby at the hospital.
Alf asks Rose to help get the AVO lifted so that Tane can return to Maia’s side. Rose firmly refuses, insisting that the situation was taken out of her hands when Tane got into an altercation with the Coastal News journalist who’d written a nasty article about him.
9. Roo considers a big decision over the baby
Roo helps Tane look into applying for permanent residency in Australia, which would allow him to put himself forward as Maia’s emergency foster carer. They hit an immediate obstacle when they find out that the process would take months, making it very unlikely that he’d ever be assigned to Maia.
Tane suggests that Roo could take matters into her own hands and she starts to seriously consider becoming Maia’s emergency foster carer herself.
Roo isn’t jumping into it lightly, as she wonders whether she’d be able to say goodbye to children left in her care when the time comes. This also brings back memories of giving up her own daughter all those years ago.
