31 Emmerdale pictures confirm Mack and Aaron twist as two residents get passionate and another faces the sack

The ITV soap kickstarted 2024 in an unforgettable way, with the devastating death of Heath Hope (Sebastian Dowling), who was killed in a car being driven by Angelica King (Rebecca Bakes), breaking all of our hearts.

But while this story is set to continue into the coming weeks, you can rest assured that there is drama aplenty for various other residents too, with next week seeing a new coupling born, in addition to a sacking and a car theft gone wrong.

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb), for one, is up to his old tricks once again after partnering up with Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), with the two having started a car-stealing enterprise.

But not satisfied with their work so far, Mack suggests that Aaron kick things up a notch, targeting more expensive vehicles in the process. Aaron takes his associate’s advice, setting his sights on one motor in particular, which is owned by a business acquaintance of Kim Tate’s (Claire King).

What could possibly go wrong?

Speaking of Kim, the Home Farm businesswoman is determined to make things right with old mate Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), who returns to the village in upcoming scenes.

Lydia, as fans will know, decided to take a leave of absence from Emmerdale after discovering that Kim knew how rapist Craig Reed died but failed to tell her the truth.

Can Kim make amends?

Elsewhere, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) receives a huge update from the police following Damon ‘Harry’ Harris’ (Robert Beck) demise, while Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) comes to a big decision about her affair with Caleb Milligan (William Ash).
